FAROE ISLANDS
December 2021 - January 2022
Winter trip around Faroe Islands. We have our basecamp in Hoyvík next to Tórshavn, from there we discovered 7 of the 18 islands that make up the archipelago (the largest ones are connected with modern underwater tunnels). We do amazing trekking everywhere with incredible landscapes that surprises you every moment due to the incredible natural beauty, always accompanied by sheep and geese wherever we went, we really don't find many people anywhere.
The water, the waterfalls and the cliffs are part of the landscape due to the large amount but they never cease to amaze you. Another thing that impressed us the most was the tradition (which other Scandinavian countries also have) of shooting fireworks from everywhere to celebrate the New Year's Eve.
