One week road trip through Slovenia that due to the floods of the previous week we had to replan at the last minute. All territory west of Ljubljana was inaccessible. We start with a 15h drive from Barcelona to get to Piran. What a beautiful town, we really enjoyed its water and its gastronomy. On the way to Ljubljana, we stopped to visit the largest cave in the world (Postojna) and the Predjama castle. That same afternoon we made a sighting of wild brown bears without success. Once in the capital, we soak up its history, nature, and beauty.
Our last stop, where we spent a few days, was the Julian Alps. An authentic wonder of nature with infinite green meadows, steep mountains, blue rivers that we had never seen before and dream lakes. A splendid place to relax and be in contact with nature.
